Manitowoc, WI High School Coach Killed in Auto Accident, May 1929

MANITOWOC COACH DIES AFTER AUTO ACCIDENT

Manitowoc---(AP)---Injuries received when his car was forced off the road and down an embankment while returning from Milwaukee early Sunday proved fatal to William L. Johnson, 31, athletic director of the high school here last night.

Mrs. F. M. Head, the wife of a former high school faculty member, was injured so seriously that physicians believe she will die. Her husband and Mrs. Johnson were less seriously injured.

The car which forced their automobile from highway 141 was not indentified.
