Brown's Corner, WI Two Auto Crash, May 1937

SEVEN PERSONS KILLED IN WISCONSIN CRASH.

Manitowoc, Wis. - Seven Wisconsin persons were dead yesterday as a result of an auto crash on Highway 42, three miles south of Brown's Corner in Manitowoc County.
The dead:
GERVAIS SHANAHAN, 20.
JOHN GATZ, 55.
MRS. ELIZABETH GATZ, 52.
MRS. LENA OLSEN, 75.
VERNON PINTER, 25.
SHIRLEY RICHTER, 5.
and MRS. BEULAH RICHTER, 23, mother of Shirley and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gatz.
The accident occurred when the car driven by EDWARD RICHTER sideswiped a car driven by VERNON PINTER, who was returning to Osman, Wis. Six were riding with RICHTER and three with PINTER.
