CAUGHT IN A PLANER.
Arthur Venne Meets with an Unfortunate Accident at Fond du Lac.
Fond du Lac., Wis., Sept. 10.----[Special.]---Arthur Venne, who is employed at the Winnebago furniture factory, had two fingers of his left hand cut off this morning in the large planer which he was engaged in operating. At the time of the accident Mr. Venne was planing a short piece of hard wood, when it slipped and his hand was forced in between the knives. The young man was taken to the office of Dr. Willey, where the hand was dressed. The accident to Mr. Venne happens at an unfortunate time as his wedding day was set for tomorrow.
