Roanoak County, VA Woman Died in Single Car Crash, Nov 2014
ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. -
Roanoke County Police say a woman died in an single car crash early Saturday morning.
Investigators say it happened on Twelve O'Clock Knob Road at about 2:20 a.m.
Police say Wendy Bowling ran her car off the road and ran into several trees.
Rescue crews pronounced Wendy Bowling dead at the scene.
Officers say she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Investigators say alcohol may have been a factor.
Roanoke County Police are still investigating the crash.

On Saturday, 29 November 2014 at approximately 220am, Roanoke County officers were dispatched to the 2900 Block of Twelve O'Clock Knob Road in reference to a traffic crash involving a single vehicle. The vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck several trees before coming to rest approximately 45 feet off the roadway. Wendy Michelle Bowling was the driver of the vehicle, and was pronounced deceased on scene by rescue personnel. Bowling was wearing her seat belt at the time of crash. Alcohol may have been a factor. This crash is currently still under investigation by the Roanoke County Police Department..
