Fort Worth, TX Tricycle Accident, Sept 1913
JUDGE BROWN'S SON SUFFERS BROKEN LEG.
Boy Sustains Fracture When Thrown From Tricycle Monday Afternoon.
Ralph Brown, little son of Judge Marvin H. Brown, was thrown from a tricycle he was riding Monday afternoon and his left leg was broken. The fracture was between the ankle and the knee.
The machine started to fall with the child and in endeavoring to catch himself his leg was caught between the wheels.
"The only thing that seemed to worry him particularly," said Judge Brown, Tuesday, "was the fact that he ws going to be kept out of school and might lose his chair. We telephoned his teacher and when she promised to keep it for him he went straight to sleep."
