Man Thrown 90 Feet When Motorcycle Hits Automobile; Loses Leg

Waco, Texas, July 4. – Thrown ninety feet through the air, Fred Fisher of McGregor, twenty miles west of Waco, narrowly escaped death Saturday when the motorcycle he was riding and an automobile collided in the western part of Waco. Fisher was taken to a hospital where it was that his left leg was so badly mashed that it had to be amputated above the knee. The accident occurred at a street crossing.
