Woman Student, Instructor Killed In Trainer Crash
HOUSTON, Texas, March 7, (AP)---A man instructor and a woman student pilot were killed instantly late Sunday when their trainer plane crashed in a pasture about seven miles south of Houston.
The instructor was Norris Gould Morgan, 41, of Houston, the name of the woman was withheld until her nearest of kin could be notified.
The plane was from the 319th Army Air Force Flying Training Detachment based at the Houston municipal airport. Major W. W. Farmer, in command of the detachment, said the plane was on a routine flight.
