Atoka, TX Railroad Accident, May 1903
While Coupling Cars W. M. Leonard Is Painfully Injured.

Denison, Tex., May 10 – While coupling flatcars at Atoka about 9 o’clock last night William LEONARD, a north end Katy brakeman, was caught between the cars and severely pinched. Three ribs were broken and he received internal injuries. He was brought to his home in this city and his injuries given medical attention. While he is painfully hurt, his injuries are not considered of a very serious nature.
