5 FAMILY MEMBERS KILLED IN TENNESSEE VAN CRASH.

Caryville, Tenn. - A woman apparently fell asleep at the wheel of a minivan, crashing the vehicle and killing five members of a Georgia family Wednesday, police said.
ROSE BURKE, 72, of Canton, Ga., was driving south on Interstate 75 at about 2:30 a.m. when she missed a curve on a hill, went off the road and slammed into a tree, troopers said. BURKE and an unidentified child passenger were listed in critical and serious condition, respectively.
Only BURKE was identified. A spokeswoman said the passengers were BURKE'S daughter, three grandchildren and two foster grandchildren, all from Woodstock, Ga. Woodward said the children included two 17-year-old girls, a 14-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy.
Caryville is 30 miles northeast of Knoxville.
