TRAIN KILLS 5 IN CAR.

VEHICLE LOADED WITH COTTON PICKERS IS STRUCK.

Jackson, Tenn., Oct. 14. (AP) - A Louisville and Nashville freight train struck an automobile loaded with cotton pickers at a rural crossing today, killing five persons and injuring three.
The victims, all white, included three women, a man, and a 10-year-old child. Three other white passengers in the automobile escaped with minor injuries.
The dead were:
MRS. ADDIE JONES.
MRS. MAURINE HENDRIX.
MRS. ROSIE GANTT,
WARDELL CLENDENNIN, the man.
YOLANDA COLEMAN, the 10 year old.
They lived in a rural community near Jackson.
