Special to The Inquirer.

TOWANDA, Pa., Feb. 15.---Fire starting in a waste paper box in the basement this evening, destroyed the high school building at Athens, entailing a loss of $75,000. It was a three-story brick structure erected in 1888. The firemen were handicapped by frozen hydrants.
