Drowned.---On Saturday evening a party of nine young men started down the river in a hatch. Among the number was Jas. Pleary, twenty-five years old, living at No. 131 Christian street. Early yesterday morning, while at Red Bank, Pleary and another young man went into bathe. Pleary had been in the water but a few minutes when he sank. His friends saw his dangerous condition, and at once went to his assistance. He sank, however, before they could reach him. The body was not recovered.
