BUCKS COUNTY CRASH CLAIMS SIX LIVES.
Ottsville - Six people in two cars were killed in a fiery head-on crash early Sunday about a quarter mile south of Ottsville in rural Tinicum Township, Bucks County, state police said.
A Chevrolet Camaro carrying four teenagers was speeding south on Route 611 in the northbound lane, passing several other southbound vehicles, when it slammed into a northbound Chevrolet Nova carrying two men about 12:30 a.m., police said.
All six were taken to Doylestown Hospital where they were pronounced dead on arrival about 1:15 a.m., a hospital spokeswoman said.
BENJAMIN W. OGDEN, 36, of nearby Erwinna, was identified as the driver of the northbound car, and his passenger was RONALD PETER RACIK, 34, of Quakertown, police said.
The four in the first car were identified as the driver, JOSEPH MICHAEL LEPO, 19, of Wrightstown, and his passengers, KATHLEEN ANNE REILLY, 17, of Holland; HEIDI MARIE ELIZABETH DOUGHERTY, 15, of Richboro; and NANCILYN WEBER, 19, of Holland.
