THREE MEN HURT AT DUNCANNON WORKS

Duncannon, June 8.—Friday night George Skivington, W. H. Sonners and S. W. Casey three employes{sic} of the Duncannon Iron and Steel Company had a narrow escape from serious injury. They were pushing a truck loaded with iron onto the scales at the works, when the scales broke and the truck shot forward and rebounded striking the three men.

Skivington received three fractured ribs and was hurt internally. Sonners had his one leg and side hurt. Both these men will be laid up for several days, but their injuries are not considered serious. Casey received a badly bruised right side.
