Philadelphia, PA Wagon Accident, Oct 1903
MARK WING HURT; ALLENTOWN ANXIOUS
Clean Linen Began to Grow Scarce and Laundry Door Was Forced, Not Dead as Supposed.
ANOTHER MONGOLIAN EXPLAINS
Special to the Times.
Allentown, Oct. 14.—Mark Wing, the Chinaman, who conducts a laundry here, went to Philadelphia last week and while there was run over by a heavy wagon and seriously hurt.
He was taken to the hospital. No one here knew of the accident and his laundry was closed so long it was feared he was dead in the house.
Neighbors forced the door but found nothing amiss.
Another celestial came here this week bringing the intelligence of the accident. Mark Wing is improving.
