Laughlin, PA Train Wreck, Dec 1878

PITTSBURG, Penn., Dec. 11.---A serious accident occurred on the Baltimore and Ohio Road a short time before daylight this morning. A west-bound freight train jumped the track near Laughlin Station, and was badly wrecked. One of the brakemen, named Fuller, was buried under the debris, and when taken out was found to be badly hurt. The road was badly blocked at the wreck, and passengers were compelled to be transferred all day. A heavy land-slide occurred at Soho, on the same road.
