Run Over By Car, He Gets Only A Scratch

Special to The Inquirer.

Mahanoy City, Pa., May 10. – James NOLAN was run down last night by a lakeside trolley car, which passed over him, leaving him with only a small scratch on the head. The accident occurred just on the outskirts of town. The car crept up from behind, and in a moment had stretched NOLAN full length between the rails. The axles of the car scraped his clothing as it passed over him, but that was all.
