Special to The Inquirer

SHARON, Pa., Aug. 18--Eleven year old Charles Lilly heroically gave up his life today trying to save his companion, Arthur Charles, aged ten years, from drowning. The boys were bathing in Shenango River at Newcastle and the younger lad got beyond his depth. Lilly swam to his assistance, but after a struggle both sank.
