Tyrone, PA Sawmill Fire, Sept 1876

Alberts Brothers steam sawmill, and Jonathan Boynion's lumber yard, at Tyrone, Penn., with the railroad Company's water tank at Woodland, Clearfield, County, were burned yesterday morning. About one million feet of sawed lumber and forty thousand pickets were destroyed. Loss on lumber $15,000; insured for $5,000; loss on mill $25,000; insured $9,000. The fire was of incendiary origin.
