PITTSBURG HOTEL GUESTS NARROWLY ESCAPE BURNING

Barely Got Out With Their Clothes and Baggage

PITTSBURG, Pa., Aug. 29 -- The Rankin Hotel, at Rankin, Pa., was totally destroyed by fire early this morning. The flames spread so rapidly that the guests barely escaped with their lives and lost almost all their clothing.
A guest named OATES, who jumped from a third story window broke his left arm and was badly bruised. The loss was about $10,000.
