Greenville, OH Carriage Struck By Train, Dec 1895

FATHER, MOTHER AND THREE CHILDREN RUN OVER BY A TRAIN.
Cleveland, Ohio, Dec. 13. - A special to the Press from Greenville, O., says:
"OLIVER HAMMOND, his wife and three children were killed at a crossing on the Dayton & Union Railway, seven miles from this city, yesterday afternoon."
"They were crossing the track in an inclosed vehicle, and did not hear an approaching passenger train. The train struck the carriage and all were instantly killed. MRS. HAMMOND and two of the children were literally ground to pieces."
