FIVE WOMEN KILLED IN CRASH.

Twinsburg (AP) - Five elderly women were killed Monday when the car they were riding in stopped in the middle of an intersection before being struck by a dump truck.
Four of the women, the youngest of whom was 63, were killed instantly and the fifth died at the scene, according to Summit County Sherriff Richard Warren.
Witnesses told Warren the women paused at a stop sign at the intersection of two country roads before attempting to cross. While crossing, the car stopped in the middle of the intersection just before a truck carrying gravel slammed into the driver's side, pushing the car an estimated 125 feet.
Warren said the names of the women are being withheld pending notification of family members.
