Delphos, OH Train Wreck, Aug 1902
Last Saturday night the towns man at Delphos, Ohio, turned the signal against Engineer Dexter in a sudden and unexpected manner and before the engineer could stop his train the engine, No. 7262, went off the derail and turned over on her side. Fireman C. E. Burgess jumped from the cab and was was pitched forward with force sufficient to badly sprain his right wrist. No others were injured.
