Wolfs Basin, OH Auto Accident, May 1928

WIND CAUSES OVERTURNING OF CHAUNCEY CAR.

WALTER LEFFLER AND FAMILY ESCAPE HURT IN UNUSUAL MISHAP.

Chauncey, May 3. -- (Staff Special) -- An accident, which might have proven more serious occurred Sunday at Wolfs Basin, near Haydenville, when the sedan driven by WALTER LEFFLER and occupied by his mother, MRS. CHARLES LEFFLER, CHARLES LEFFLER, JR., and RUTH LEFFLER, all of Chauncey, was overturned at that point, by the strong wind.
None of the occupants were injured, with the exception of slight bruises. The machine's fenders were damaged, but otherwise it was not put out of commission.
The LEFFLERS had been to Columbus, having taken their daughter and sister, MRS. EMMONS MACE, to that city, after a visit in Chauncey.
