Lakota, ND Threshing Rig Accident, Jun 1908

William Crocker Had Hand Badly Injured in Threshing Rig.

Lakota, N. D., June 5.---William Crocker, senior member of the transfer firm of Crocker & Showalter, was severely injured while unloading a threshing rig. In some manner his left hand was caught in the tackle and before it could be freed the forefinger was so badly injured that it had to be amputated, and the other fingers of the hand were badly lacerated and burned by the rope.

The accident was particularly unfortunate coming at this time as Mr. Crocker expects to be married within a day or two to Miss Mae Bradley. However, there will be no postponement of the ceremony on account of Mr. Crocker's misfortune.
