Round Lake, NY Auto And Bus Collision, Sep 1933

AUTO HITS BUS, 2 DEAD, 20 HURT.

Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Sept. 2 (AP) - Two women were killed and 20 persons were injured, several believed seriously, when an Albany-Saratoga Springs bus with 29 passengers aboard crashed head-on with an automobile, left the highway rolled down a ten foot embankment and turned over near Round Lake, south of here, tonight.
The dead, sole occupants of the automobile, were MRS. MARY L. SOUTHARD and MRS. HATTIE CLARK, both of Ballston Spa, Saratoga County.
ROY GUILE of Mechanicsville, driver of the bus, told state police the automobile, proceeding in the opposite direction, apparently got out of control.
