THREE STUDENTS DIE AS TRAIN HITS BUS.

TWO SISTERS AND 17-YEAR-OLD BOY ARE VICTIMS; THREE OTHERS IN SERIOUS CONDITION.

Ronkonkoma, N.Y., Dec. 20, (UP) - Three high school students were crushed to death today, when a speeding Long Island Railroad train struck a bus at an unguarded crossing in Holbrook.
Two other students and the driver of the bus were injured critically.
Those killed were ALICE BEDELL, 16; and her sister, EDNA BEDELL, 15; and ROBERT SEEKAMP, 17.
AUGUST BLASKE, of Sayville, driver of the bus, may not recover. He was taken with ELEANOR NAGEL and AUGUST RING to a hospital at Bayshore.
The train, an express, carried the wrecked bus 150 feet beyond the crossing.

Two Had Just Boarded Bus.
The bus was owned by William Stryker, of Sayville, and it was en route to the Sayville High School.
The two BEDELL girls had boarded the vehicle only 40 feet from the crossing where the bus was struck.
Coroner Grover Stillman and Assistant District Attorney Joseph Arata of Suffolk County went to the scene to take charge of an investigation.
