Well Dressed Strangers Run Down in Central Railroad Yard

PHILLIPSBURG, N. J., Junt{sic} 6.—While a trio of well dressed strangers were walking through the Central Railroad yard here late last night two of them got in the way of the “Cannon Ball” freight train and were run down. One was ground to death undtr{sic} the wheels and the other was so badly hurt that he died in the Easton Hospital without having recovered consciousness. The third man ran away.

There was nothing on the clothing of either of the dead men that could bt{sic} used as means of identification. The police are trying to unravel the mystery. The dead men were about 23 and 30 years old respectively.
