Nora O'Grady, Who Went Beyond Her Depth While Bathing, Could Not Swim.

MAYS LANDING, N. J., July 6.--While bathing in Lake Lenafe with two companions Nora O'Grady went beyond her depth and being unable to swim was drowned before help could be summoned. Miss O'Grady, who was 18 years old, was engaged to be married to James Turf. He reached the lakeside just as her body was found, and was prostrated with grief. Efforts to revive her were fruitless.

Miss O'Grady was employed by Surrogate S. C. Shaner of this place, with whom she lived for years. Her mother was Mrs. Annie O'Grady of 404 West Thirty-eighth Street, Manhattan, New York.
