Car-House and Rolling-Mill in Nashua, N. H.
NASHUA, N. H., April 30.---A fire broke out this morning in the car-house of the Worcester and Nashua Railroad Company, which building, with its contents, consisting of a train of cars, snow-plows, &c., was totally destroyed. Water was scarce, and the rolling-mill of the Nashua Iron and Steel Company took fire, and was also burned to the ground. A small portion of the machinery was saved, but the loss is estimated at from $40,000 to $50,000. The property is said to be insured for $25,000. The railroad company's loss is not yet ascertained.
