Fire at Herkimer.[sic]

HERKIMER [sic], N. H., June 20.--Noyea's Block is on fire, and the hotel, shoe manufactory, and other buildings in the business section of the town are threatened. A steamer, hose carriage and a large force of men were dispatched from Concord on a special train. Many wooden buildings are in the locality of the fire, and the town is without adequate facilities for coping with an extensive blaze.

Herkimer [sic] N. H. Suffers by Fire.

CONCORD N. H., June 20.--A telegram has been received from Herkimer [sic], 20 miles west of here. Timed 10:30 a.m. stating that the Noyes block is on fire and that the other business blocks, hotel, shoe manufactury, and other buildings in the business section of the town are threatened and will be destroyed, unless help is sent immediately. A steamer, hose carriage and large force of men have been dispatched on a special train. Many wooden buildings were in the locality of the fire and the town is without adequate facilities for coping with an extensive blaze.
