CRASH IN RAIN KILLS SIX - 2 BADLY HURT AFTER A FISHING TRIP.

KANSAS CITIZENS WERE ON WAY HOME FROM OUTING AT BULL SHOALS.

A Kansas City father and his 13-year-old son were among six persons killed yesterday afternoon in a motor car collision seven miles north of Springfield, Mo., on M-13.
The victims include HOWARD W. BIGELOW, 48, of 4102 Holly Street, and his son, DAVID BIGELOW, 13.
Also killed were AARON LEITWEIN, 66; his wife, MRS. DATHNA LEITWEIN; their son, HARRY LEITWEIN, 45, and HARRY LEITWEIN'S son, DEAN LEITWEIN, 13, all of Springfield.
Admitted to Burge Hospital in Springfield with critical injuries were MRS. HARRY LEITWEIN, 43, and THOMAS BIGELOW, 9.

Had Boat, Trailer.
The highway patrol said that the accident occurred in a heavy thunderstorm about 3:30 o'clock. The BIGELOW car was northbound. A boat and trailer were attached to the car. The LEITWEIN vehicle was southbound.
MRS. BIGELOW said that her husband and two sons had been on a fishing trip. They were on the way to Kansas City when the accident occurred.
BIGELOW was pronounced dead on arrival about 4 o'clock at Burge Hospital. DAVID BIGELOW died at 6:45 o'clock.

A Fishing Companion.
The Bigelows had made the fishing trip with James M. Larkin, 7601 Colonial Drive, Prairie Village, a lawyer.
Larkin's wife, Mrs. Betty Larkin, said last night that her husband had decided to remain in Springfield last night and return here by plane today.
Bigelow was driving Larkin's car when the collision occurred.
