1 DEAD, 22 INJURED IN CAR - BUS CRASH.

Kansas City (AP) -- A 24-year-old North Kansas City beauty operator, critically hurt in an early Sunday morning car-bus crash, was reported in "poor condition" Monday.
Eight of 22 other persons injured are still hospitalized. Their condition was described as fair.
Still critical is MISS TOKA REYNOLDS. Hospital authorities said she spent a "poor night."
IRVEN BENTON, 54, Linden, Mo., owner of a heating and supply shop in Kansas City, Kas., was killed when his car and the bus carrying 19 girls home from a Ft. Leavenworth dance collided. Three passengers in his car were injured, none critically.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said the collision occurred after the bus rounded a curve. Three of the girls were pinned in the wreckage for a short time before rescuers could cut them loose.
