St. Charles, MO Plane Crash, May 1950

THREE SISTERS AND PILOT KILLED IN PLANE CRASH.

St. Charles, Mo. (AP) -- Four persons -- three sisters and the pilot -- died yesterday when their small plane crashed and burned eight miles south of here during a thunderstorm.
The dead are:
MISS PAULINE GUERNSEY, 48, Butler, Okla.
MRS. O. A. ANDERSON, 52, Enid, Okla.
MRS. LEE CAFFEY, Mangum, Okla.
WILLIAM STROM, 28, the pilot, Oklahoma City.
The sisters had flown to St. Louis for the wedding of their niece and had left the wedding party at Lambert-St. Louis airport just 25 minutes before the crash. They were returning to Oklahoma.
