CAR CRASH KILLS EIGHT

Wadena, Minn. (AP) - Eight persons were killed in a head-on crash three miles west of Wadena early this morning.
Six of the victims were in a station wagon with a Michigan license plate. Two young Air Force men in a car were stationed at the Wadena radar base, the State Highway Patrol reported.
Six of the dead were identified as EMIL SOROKO of Portage, Mich.; his wife, AUDREY; and their four children, GLEN, 15; MICHELLE, 13; CHRYSTAL, 12; and JANICE, 8.
The other two victims were not identified immediately.
The Minnesota patrol said the two vehicles collided about 1:15 a.m., on a two-lane section of U.S. Highway 10. Seven persons were dead at the scene and an eighth died at a hospital.
