HOUGHTON BOY DISCOVERS BODY IN PORTAGE LAKE
(News Tribune Special.)
HOUGHTON, Mich., June 22---While going to work early today Edward Richardson, a boy discovered a body floating in Portage Lake, near the county bridge. It proved to be that of an unidentified man in a badly decomposed state. The body was well clad, had evidently been in the water all winter, as the corpse had on an overcoat and a muffler. The only possible means of identification is a letter written from Canada and found on the corpse. The address was obliterated.
