Drowned Near Frankfort (KY)

Frankfort, KY. - June 28. (Special)

Walter Handy, a seventeen-year-old- colored boy, was drowned this afternoon in the river just above town. He went in bathing, got beyond his depth and could not swim. The boy's uncle was found dead at the bottom of Black's Lake with rocks tied to his body a few years ago.
