Joe Morrow Jr., of Kokomo, Narrowly Escapes Broken Neck
Joe Morrow Jr., was painfully injured Saturday morning at Camp Tecumseh, when he struck his head on a rock while diving. He received a severe scalp wound, narrowly escaping a broken neck, according to the attending physician. He was brought to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Morrow, 905 North Main Street, where he is recovering but is still suffering intense pain from the injury.
Joe and Weston Bassett went to Camp Tecumseh Friday to stay overnight and at 5 o’clock they went for a swim, planning to return to Kokomo in time for work. Joe was able to swim to the shore.
