Boat Is Hit by Falling Wall of Elevator---One Man Hurt.

Chicago, Ill., Aug. 4.---The fire tug Illinois, which had been working all night on the smouldering ruins of elevators E and F which burned yesterday, was sunk in the river today by the falling of a wall elevator F. Tons of brick fell on the deck and the tug sank beneath the weight. members of the crew jumped into the river and only one was injured. He will recover. The tug is valued at $200,000. It will cost $15,000 to raise and repair her.
