EXPLOSION KILLS 2, INJURES 6.
Honolulu (AP) -- Two Marines died and six were injured Thursday in an explosion and fire at the Puuloa rifle range near Pearl Harbor, the Marine Corps said Friday.
The dead men were identified as:
PFC. DARYL ALLEN AESCHLIMAN, 19, Portland, Ore.
SGT. JAMES E. BOGGS, 38, Central, S.C.
AESCHLIMAN was killed outright. BOGGS died Friday at Tripler Army Hospital, Honolulu.
Among those injured was PFC. EDGAR KENT COOPER, Idaho Falls.
