STRUCK BY LIGHTNING
Two Men Killed and Several Persons Rendered Unconscious.

COLUMBUS, Ga., June 9.----A heavy wind and thunderstorm passed over this City last night, causing the death of two men, perhaps fatal injury of a third and did considerable damage of property.

While was struck by lightning while standing under a tree in company with Cochran. The same bolt killed McLain, who was just across the river in Phoenix City.
Several dwellings were struck by lightning or unroofed by the storm.
