Two Women Injured By Fire Pumping Engine

Macon, Ga., Jan. 2. (AP)--Two women were injured here tonight when a motor pumping apparatus, responding to a general fire alarm to the Heard Brothers cotton warehouse crashed into an automobile and virtually destroyed the machine.

The warehouse fire is said to be difficult to control and is burning slowly. Approximately 1,000 bales of cotton are stored in the warehouse. The Adams Brothers manufacturing plant, makers of overalls, is threatened, being located directly behind the burning warehouse.
