Boca Raton, FL Auto Collision, Feb 1996

A speeding car crammed with nine teen-agers slammed into oncoming traffic, killing five.
The accident occurred Friday night just outside of Boca Raton when a Honda filled with the teen-agers crossed the median on Palmetto Park Road and hit an oncoming Acura.
"There were bodies in the grass, here and over there," said witness Amilio Arrington, 29. "They definitely did not walk out of the car."
Lt. Pembrook Burrows of the Florida Highway Patrol said that only two of the victims were wearing seat belts and that the Honda was traveling at an excessive speed.
