Fatal Storm In Connecticut.

NEW HAVEN, June 28.----According to reports received here from different sections of the state, the thunderstorm that prevailed yesterday afternoon was and exceedingly severe one. A number of residences were struck, and considerable damage was done by hail to growing crops. But one fatality is reported, however, Francis F. Wall, 18 years of age, being struck by lightning after he had taken refuge under the grand stand at the driving park in Hartford. The railroad station of the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad company at Berlin was also struck by lightning and destroyed by fire, causing an estimated loss of $10,000.
