TEN PERSONS HURT IN STREET CAR ACCIDENT

Two Denver Tramway Cars Come Together, Due to Misplaced Switch--Man and Three Women Seriously Injured.

ACCIDENT OCCURRED AT 16TH and BOULDER

Denver, Aug. 11. __ Four persons were seriously injured and six others received minor cuts and bruises in a street car collision at 16th and Boulder streets at 2 o’clock this afternoon. The victims are Frank McKee and three unknown women. McKee and one of the women were hurried to a hospital and the other two women were placed in a cab and taken to their homes.

The cars colliding were an eastbound Berkeley car and an outbound 44th avenue car. The collision accurred [sic] at a switch when the 44th avenue car should have turned to the right, but through negligence or accident the switch was not turned and both cars going in opposite direction came together.
