AGED MAN IN PARTY SUFFERS FROM BROKEN RIBS AND HIS DEATH IS EXPECTED.

Denver, July 17. -- Four persons were injured, one probably fatally, when an interurban car on the Denver & Interurban railroad struck an automobile one mile east of Eldorado Springs, twenty miles from here, today. The automobile, with its occupants, was pushed sidewise a hundred feet by the car, struck a trolley pole and was wrecked.
The injured:
MRS. JOHN L. BOYD, 64 years old, three ribs broken, hurt internally, will probably die.
RALPH M. GILLETTE, two ribs broken, internally hurt.
MRS. RALPH M. GILLETTE, bruised.
BYRON T. BOYD, ligaments of ankle severed.
Because of a string of empty cars on a siding, the occupants of the automobile were unable to see the interurban car approaching on a down grade at high speed. A special car brought the victims to Denver.
