3-CAR CRASH KILLS 8 NEAR LIVERMORE.

Livermore (AP) - Eight persons were killed and one injured critically Saturday in a collision of thee autos at Altamont Pass on U.S. 50 east of here, the highway patrol reported.
The patrol said a westbound auto carrying five Mexican transients jumped a cement divider strip, hit one car head-on and then struck a second broadside.
The dead were identified as:
RUBY JONES, about 35, of Fremont.
ARNOLD BOWLIN, Fremont.
BOWLIN'S wife, CLAUDINE, 35.
SALVADORE MENDEZ, about 35.
RUBIN CHAVEZ BEDOLLA.
MIGUEL MENDEZ GAROIA.
LOUIS PAROUZ VOCA, 25.
and RAYA BRAVLIO GOMEZ, 29.
EUGENE LLOYD JONES, 41, of the same address as RUBY JONES, was in critical condition at a hospital here.
