PLANE WRECKAGE SIGHTED IN KLAMATH RIVER TREE.
Yreka, Calif., May 3. - (AP) - A search party on horseback rode today into the rocky, timbered Marble Mountain country, trying to reach the wreckage of a small plane.
George Martin, postmaster of the community of Hamburg on the Klamath River, reported yesterday that he had sighted through glasses, the plane fuselage in a tree.
It may be the wreckage of a plane in which two men and a woman disappeared last December.
Those aboard were PAUL STARR, 32, president of the P-D Lumber Corp., South Gate, Calif.: his brother, ROBERT STARR, 34, and a Portland lumber broker, MISS RUTH MEYER, 34. They were en-route from Salem to Sacramento.
