Paint Rock, AL Baggageman Killed by Trunk, Jul 1904

Killed by a Trunk.

Huntsville, July 7.---(Special.)---C. E. Brown, a flagman on the Southern Railway, residing in Chattanooga, met death in a peculiar manner at Paint Rock. Brown was unloading a heavy trunk from the baggage car of an early morning train and was smashed by the trunk against a freight car that stood just behind him. His head was broken and he died instantly.
