Two Cotton Warehouses Destroyed at Troy, Ala.

TROY, Ala. Nov. 6.---[Special.]---This morning at 1 o'clock fire was discovered in the cotton warehouse of S. A. Williams. The alarm was given and in a few minutes every one was busy trying to check the flames. The fire leaped across the street to Chaffin's warehouse and completely destroyed it, burning up 500 bales of cotton and several small stores in the same building. William's warehouse contained 300 bales of cotton. All the cotton is said to be injured. The amount of loss on the warehouse is $800; on Chaffin's $600. All the other losses were comparatively light. The fire is supposed to have been of incendiary origin.
